About Me
Jeanette Joseph Baas, LCSW
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience working with all ages in a variety of settings. Although the current focus of my practice is centered on adults, I have extensive experience working with children and adolescents. I draw on this experience to support adults navigating the joys and challenges of parenthood.
My therapeutic style is centered around respect and empathy, infused with honesty and warmth. In a safe non-judgmental environment, you will feel heard and validated. I will learn your story and guide you with your best interest in mind. Using a holistic and collaborative counseling approach, I will support you to navigate through the difficulties that life brings.
Regardless of life experiences, I strongly believe we all possess hope and resilience. Therapy will be an opportunity for you to deeply understand yourself, learn tools to manage stress, and better cope with the challenges of work, relationships, and everyday life. It is an honor for me to be on this journey with you!
My specialties include:
Anxiety
Parenting
Relationships
Dating
Divorce
Life Transitions
Cancer
Women’s Health
Chronic Health Conditions
Grief and Loss
On a personal note, I am a married mother of two wonderful young adults and a high-maintenance Bichon. I’m a cancer survivor, baker, sports fanatic, traveler, and exercise lover. In addition to truly enjoying my work as a therapist, I find immense happiness in spending time with my family and friends.
